Krystal Wray is a versatile professional dancer and choreographer. Krystal is known for her captivating energy & connectedness with the audience. Her journey began at the age of 3 years old training throughout the tri-state area and Los Angeles, and has competed along the East Coast from Niagara Falls to Virginia Beach.
In 1996, her professional career took off with A+ Models Future Stars where she began to work in New York City with well-known Film Director Ron Howard, Kurt Russell, Hayley Mills & The Osmonds.
As a classically trained technical artist and choreographer, Krystal has trained and taught in various performing art forms including Dance (Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Break, Musical Theater, Social, Ballroom, Belly, Latin, Heels), Gymnastics, Vocal (Range: Alto to Soprano, Genres: Pop, Rock, R&B), and Acting (Theater, Film).
Her training continued with receiving a 500-hour Teacher Certification in Vinyasa Yoga which she incorporates when working with her students.
Krystal teaches through a safe space of light-hearted positivity while empowering her students & encouraging room for self-expression. She centers her classes around a structured curriculum while implementing awareness of the body and the importance of using breath with movement.
Over the last 10+ years Krystal has completed her stay with New Jersey Music and Dance Company where she took part in several productions and live events, such as, “Viva Vegas, Baby” and the “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Concert and Festival”. She has also been Associate Producer of several Productions in New Jersey including “Storywood”, & “Back to the Future Again.”
Since then, Krystal was a background actress on the well-known Featured Film Lucky N#mber with Method Man, “American Girl” at the 2013 VMAs for Epic Records Bonnie McKee, dancer in the 2014 NBA Playoff Flashmob, dancer for Cam’Ron at the 2015 Dipset Reunion, Member of Bev Browns Buck You Hip Hop Dance Crew, in recording artist Ciara’s “Got Me Good” music video release with Sony Records, along with performances in the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater.
